4th Annual Red Skye Comics Character and Cover Art Contest!!

We receive hundreds of inquiries and art submissions every week from artists all over the world. Most of them want to know how to be featured in Red Skye Comics and on our website. This year, we offer, once again, a chance for all artists to shine! We have begun our 4th Annual Red Skye Comics Character and Cover Art Contest!!

ONLY The top 10 artists will be selected in the first set of submissions as determined by our editors, staff and/or online reviews. If you’re an artist/illustrator that would like to submit illustrations of Red Skye Comics Characters or covers to be included in the Red Skye Comics Presents Special Edition (2010) Volume 1 comic book and website, go to the Red Skye Comics website, Facebook fan page or Myspace for character profiles at:

Illustrate one or more of our characters (Pencils, Inks, Paint and/or Color. ALL STYLES AND MEDIUMS ACCEPTABLE.) Up to 5 illustrations per artist per submission

PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE COSTUMES OR RE-INTERPRET CHARACTER COSTUMES.

COMIC BOOK COVER RE-DESIGNS ARE OK TO SUBMIT ALSO.

Send artwork in mid-resolution (150-200 DPI), no larger than 8MB (ONLY BMP, TIFF or JPEG formats are acceptable) or if you have any questions, email to:

PRIZE: If you are one of the Top 10 selected, we will feature your artwork with contact information/ad space within the pages of the Red Skye Comics Presents Special Edition (2010) Volume 1 comic book and on our website www.redskyeworld.com in our new “Artist Featured” section.

PLUS: 2 artists from the Top 10 will be hired to have their character artwork featured on the cover of one our model's comic books.

Be advised that some art submissions and artist names will be posted on our Facebook fan page and other networks for promotional purposes. Please let us know if you DO NOT want your art and name posted on these sites.
