On my tata sky+ there is a video on demand section on which you can watch stuff anytime so they should leverage that and provide a good selection of movies at a reasonable price.

the biggest advantage tata sky has compared to the others is that it is partly owned by star which is owned by rupert murdoch who also owns fox studios.so that's a massive collection of movies and shows right there without royalty payments.

I am a Reliance Broadband Customer since 5 years now .. Never faced any major issue with them until now ...

About 1 year back I was facing packet loss issue and when reliance techie visited my place with laptop it worked fine on his and i changed my lan card and then it started working fine on comp also without packet loss and the problem was resolved.

Now again from 21st July 2011 I am facing same packet loss issue 25-30% and sometimes the nets staying disconnected for 4-5 hours at a strech. from last night 11PM till today morning 11AM my net was totally down ..

The reliance techie again visited my place with his laptop. again worked perfect in his without any packet loss ( we tested about 15 mins ) , but as soon as he would put the connection on my pc packetloss would start .. So again he asked me to change the lancard and i did . BUT this time the packet loss still continues ..

My Comp engineer pinged the LAN Card with some 192.168.1.3 IP and there was no loss . but the minute we pinged RILs gateway we started to get packetloss . so my techie says it seems prob with rils end and not my pc .. he told me to arrange for a laptop and try on that for 2-3 days. if it works on that then ill have to format my pc or send pc for some hardware fauts, but he highly doubts hardware is of concern ...

The ril techie tells me to use windows xp and i say NO WAYS... im happy with windows 7 and from 1.5 yrs im using win 7 and ril and no issue until 21st july ..

so friends please offer any advice or some solution for this un necessay mess .. thanks

Airtel Broadband Fair Usage Policy

After one and half years, Airtel finally reduced my Fair Usage Policy to 25GB from 100GB. But, they offered me 20% discount on 1999 plan so I'm migrating to that now.:dance:
